The RCA Service Design Public Event is a chance to experience live work in the MA1 studio, see early prototypes and take part in experiments and discussions on evolving projects across our Challenge Labs.

Project themes include designing safety into early stage dating, exploring cultural identity among the UK Vietnamese Diaspora, the rise of Buy Now Pay Later services and risks for Gen Z, the relationship between cleaning and mental health, designing for blue and green spaces and maintaining the vitality and diversity of underground electronic music scenes.

The one year course is producing an exciting cohort of students with the curiosity, creativity and passion to engage with the world and bring their skills to develop innovative new solutions with a sense of vision and pragmatism to effect change.
