Animation (MA)
About
This exhibition showcases the enormous motivation, resilience, and tenacity of the inaugural MA1 Animation.
They have spent the year so far experimenting, questioning, making, discussing, listening, watching, and interrogating. The work they are making condenses these processes, affirming the critical thinking and making that they have been involved in. Their practice encompasses cross- and inter-disciplinary approaches, and delves into uncomfortable and unsayable places. It also generates humour, joy, the poetic, and empathy.
Their energy is legendary, and their work is thaumaturgical evidence of what happens when you take a cohort from 21 countries and distil their energies into 25 frames a second.
