About

The last iteration of our two-year programme consists of many students whose journey through the course was interrupted by months or even years. Mythology and the re-inscription of earlier forms of storytelling is a recurring trope. Celebrating queer identities or understanding family histories sometimes with the absurdity of AI mistranslation; stories are everywhere. Time and repetition, and how to reclaim attention and human agency when we are tethered to technologies is a recurrent theme. Observations of the natural world, mediated politics and mass protest, the value of communal activity and exchange run through work using mixed media in all its forms.
