It is 2055. It is a world motivated by the value of plants brought about by increasing scarcity in the natural environment. The 'Plant Bankers', notorious capitalists construct the first bank and green exchange Royal Leafy Seeds, in the once green and pleasant lands in rural Sussex.

Plants are now a precious commodity, or as is now known 'the green gold'. Royal Leafy Seeds manufacture and exchange the now highest valued currency, GREENS in a bid to increase their control in the era of post-climate-disaster.

War and environmental damage over the next 30 years will have a profound impact on the future social conditions. The ecological environment, especially plant resources, will be directly affected. What kind of major systemic changes will occur in society? In addition, what will the future economic system look like?

Yuan Wang obtained a BA Environmental Design & Interior Design from the East China Normal University. Her previous projects include a 24-hour reading space design consultation of East China Normal University Press, an architectural scheme and interior design of Yihe Meilanhu real estate project and a renovation project of auxiliary building of East China Normal University Press.
