How should space for people who do not want to be bound by the shackles of conventional marriage be designed?

‘Life Chapter-The much-anticipated alternative of marriage’ is a speculative design of future relationships. In 2043, people start looking for a more flexible way of relationships. The philosophy of ‘Life Chapter Centre’ believes everyone deserves suitable partner/s in different stages of life, allowing attendings to customise the combination length and minimise the process. The project site is at Charleston House, based on the radical story of Vanessa Bell.

Jiayi Lin_Leo is an interior designer whose main interest is to explore the connection between human behaviour and spatial narratives. His practical experience has led him to pay particular attention to the impact of spatial details on human perception. His designs are also inspired by his attention to the details of life. He believes that spatial innovation requires a focus on integrating existing resources and establishing sustainable development paths.
