‘Flection' is a series of metal based furniture showcasing an innovative joining method using metal tube bending and deformation. This system serves as an alternative to conventional joins such as welding, rivets, and other mechanical or metallurgical methods.

Functionally, the tube and sheet are permanently fastened to each other via the bending mechanism. Additionally, the internal structure and interfaces between the sheet metal and tube provide strength and stability to the table.

Aesthetically, the metal plasticity at the bend creates an unexpected softness and fluidity that contrasts sharply with the tube's structural qualities. The table top has been shaped to highlight these plasticity details at the corners.
