Yanchen Wu is an animation director and animator.
She received her BA in Animation in China and went on to study Animation at the Royal College of Art in 2022, where she is currently researching animated documentaries.
Statement
During my studies at the RCA, I began to study animated documentaries, and talking to people is both fascinating and difficult. People are always good at hiding their true state and animation can capture the emotions behind the conversation and record the real state of being outside the dialogue.
I love to study the beauty and strength that flows through the female body, which is one of her creative inspirations.

Introduction
The film captures a chance conversation recorded by the director during a break in the interview in which four women, including the director, talk calmly about their state of being.
The rabbit is used as a constant point of reference and as a metaphor for their distrust of marriage and choice.
