Xinyue Wang is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in interior, architecture and product. She actively participated in design activities related to exhibitions, advertising, packaging, media and other fields during college. She was born and raised in Shanghai and graduated from East China Normal University. During this period, she went to Milan NABA for a two-year exchange study and obtained a bachelor's degree in art from two schools at the same time. She has been an intern at Shanghai Architectural Decoration （Group) Co., Ltd., and come to RCA for further study in 2021. In design, she tends to combine design with philosophy and space.

Xinyue Wang chose the reuse platform as her research direction. Nettleham Hall is a private estate in Lincolnshire, England. After encountering a fire, it became a ruin because no one repaired it for a long time.
The proposal hopes to design a euthanasia center at the site for organizations that help people practice euthanasia. Euthanasia is a very controversial topic in the UK. The practice is not allowed in the UK at this stage, but people will continue to go to Switzerland to end their lives after a series of complicated procedures. The proposal assumes that euthanasia will be legally permitted in the UK in the future. This site would have a similar function as Dignitas organization in Switzerland.
