Statement
There are many expectations of the unknown; awe, wonder, prayer, exploration ......
One of these expectations is that people pray to the unknown, which is beautiful. Throughout history, people have found many vehicles to carry this mentality. These vehicles may be a certain cultural system, metaphysics, religion, the search for the Creator ...... but the rules and rituals derived from these vehicles have invariably manipulated people's psyche and created some negative psychological disturbances and burdens. Many times it makes people lose sight of the purity of their expectations of the unknown good.
The Spiritual launchpad is a mechanical interactive installation that seeks to create a spiritual experience and a new narrative by simulating existing symbols and forging a mystical system. While meeting people's expectations of the unknown, it makes people reflect on existing rituals and rules: Are we worth it? Should we focus more on the most basic expectations, or on rituals, rules, and narratives themselves?
