Wanru yang

Her Time Her Move is a project based in Lewisham, aiming to provide safe, comfortable, and fun sports opportunities for girls aged 11-19 to increase their sports participation and build active habits.

Data shows that in uk, there is a significant decline in girls' sports engagement from age 10 due to multiple reasons. HerTimeHerMove project is about transforming the Lewisham CommUnity Space into a dedicated girls' area, and offer a variety of sports classes and co-creation activities for girls.

Wanru is a designer and also a thinker, she believes that it is not the glamour of the solution that designers are after, but the insights and innovative problem-solving perspectives.

About BlankDice

According to our research findings, we aim to enhance girls' sports participation comprehensively, focusing on support, vibrancy, and empowerment. Additionally, we strive to help them create new and personalized sports experiences that cater to their specific needs. As a result, we have developed "BlankDice," an auxiliary tool of our service design project #HerTimeHerMove.

London Sport has launched the first phase of its Space for Girls project in Lewisham, transforming a vacant retail space in Lewisham Shopping Centre into a health and wellbeing space.
