About

I am a Chinese service designer and user experience designer with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. With a strong background in both technology and design, I have honed my abilities to effectively bridge the two fields and bring a unique perspective to projects. I am passionate about taking a design-thinking mindset and using it to create new, innovative ideas that blend technology and creativity and have a positive impact on mankind.

Service design to me is using human-centred design and convergent strategy to promote the integration of design with social issues and deliver sustainable solutions. I love creating valuable experiences and working with others to find creative solutions to complex problems. Also, by combining business and technology with the principles of service design, I am empowered to fulfil my purpose of inspiring positive change in the world. It's one of the things that drew me to Service Design in the first place.


Statement

I am a UK-based service designer with working experience in UX design, product management, data visualization, visual communications and startups. With strong experience in user research, prototyping, strategy thinking, and Empathic and user-centred design practices. I have worked on projects across different sectors including healthcare, retail, social impact, future speculation and public policy, and created design systems and guidelines for the Islington council and the Chinese Academy of Science. I am also a creative, empathetic team player who can inspire and motivate others.
