Nadia Magda Abatorab-Manikowska (b. 1999, Warsaw, Poland) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work revolves around the exploration of intimacy, generational trauma, and the complexities of identity. Through her thought-provoking artworks, she critically examines the embodiment of the stranger's gaze and challenges societal norms imposed by capitalist structures. Informed by historical and philosophical references, Abatorab-Manikowska's exploration of portraiture photography encompasses a feminist perspective. Her work has been featured in exhibitions such as 'WIP 2022', the 'BA Photography Degree Show 2021', and 'Beyond the Frame'. Stay tuned for her upcoming shows at Off_RCA in Arles and the RCA Graduate Show in London.
