MinSheng Chiu

Throughout the two-year Master's program, Chiu found himself entangled in a labyrinthine maze of intricate dilemmas and unresolved technical obstacles, remnants of his past encounters in clothes making during his undergraduate studies. These complexities, like enigmatic riddles, posed essential inquiries that consumed his thoughts with unyielding fervor.

Foremost among them, he pondered the undeniable link between fashion design and the ever-shifting tides of prevailing trends. Was it an inherent imperative that could not be dismissed? As an artist, he questioned his ability to forge a creative lineage and chart his own path of progression, nurturing a well-structured and cohesive foundation that would bear the mark of his unique voice. Lastly, he contemplated whether it was possible to maintain unwavering authenticity and heightened discernment while drawing inspiration from his surroundings and skillfully reinterpreting contemporary cultural elements derived from his everyday experiences.

These inquiries functioned as an enchanting prism through which he perceived and engaged with the world around him. His spirit yearned to capture the ethereal tapestry of silhouettes, reminiscent of fleeting glimpses of eternity intricately woven into his very surroundings. Manifestation

Bodily in-out positioning, the physical placement of objects, informs the understanding of containment. The amorphous linear compositions offer a sense of movement across, into, and in-between garments. The technical inquiry for understanding physical formations presents an avenue to explore the fundamental nexus between matter and the human body through dimensional interplay. By examining the practical ramifications of dimensional variations, it becomes apparent that regardless of whether we are operating within one, two, or three dimensions, the process of physical orientation involves elements of segregation, distinction, and confinement, thereby implying a profound sense of encapsulation. It is within this encapsulation that a dynamic interaction of forms and shapes in varying proportions creates a spatial flow.
