In Gender Trouble (1990), Judith Butler notes that bodily gender is performative.

Linhua explores the fluid sensuality between sexuality and nature, amplifying the physical senses. There is no longer an over-focusing on the distinction between male and female genders, the distinction between species, and the emphasis on reproduction.

Linhua hopes to explore attempts to achieve an equal future between species and gender-defining relationships, and to perceive nature and sexual erotic expression through the tactile senses of their 'unrecognizable bodies'.

His design encapsulates the fluid sensuality between these interconnected realms. By challenging societal norms and embracing the performative nature of gender, he strives to create an equal future that celebrates diverse gender-defining relationships between species.
