Lijuan was born in Sichuan, China in 1999. She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Art in 3D Experimental Animation Studio in 2021 before she studied at the Royal College of Art.

Her graduation short film discussed time, space, and cognition. Inspired by Zhuangzi's philosophical thinking, it metaphorically expresses not being bound by your own thoughts, but seeing the larger world.
Growing up in the depths of mountains and canyons, she is interested in spiritual growth and philosophy, pursuing freedom of mind and body.
