The Timeless Terra takes place in a fictional world where various tribes frequently engage in wars over territory and resources. In this world, resources are limited, and competition among civilizations is bound to lead to conflict and war. Players assume the role of different tribe leaders in the game, leading their tribes to survive and develop in this world. Each tribe has its action strategies, and players must use these actions to establish their influence and compete with other tribes. Players can choose to defeat other players through continuous attacks to gain more territory or choose a unique mechanism called "crystallization" to end the game early and achieve victory.

What sets this game apart from other tabletop games is its unique mechanism to maintain its infinite duration. Each player's actions in the game will be recorded, including their development process and strategy choices. This information will be used to generate the next round, ensuring that each game is unique. Moreover, even if a player leaves the game and no longer plays it, their tribe will be recorded and appear in future games as a ghost tribe through opponents they previously played with. This mechanism allows players to have more influence in the game and makes the game more replayable. Furthermore, recording the changes in a player's civilization during the game reflects the player's social behaviour habits in a way.

In summary, this turn-based board game will bring players a challenging and adventure-filled journey, allowing them to experience the joy of civilization development through competition and cooperation. At the same time, each player has a unique influence and value in the game by recording and utilising player data.

Kaiyue Liu believes in structural design strategy; he is in the practice of researching and discovering the systematic problems behind phenomena and starts designing accordingly. Because of the complexity of the phenomenon, he regards the design method as a process rather than a result, and his research fields range from urban landscapes, speculative design to detailed product design.
