Jingmang Ke is from China. He obtained a BA degree in Fashion Design from MARANGONI in Florence, Italy, and is studying MA FASHION at RCA. He likes to combine Fashion with a variety of media to express his ideas in a multidisciplinary way。

Collaborated with director Chenshuo Hsu to design and produce 6 characters for his nowness short film. Using ancient myths to talk about modern masculinity while questioning the validity of limited views of masculinity. Key findings include moving beyond duality, cultural fusion, mythological descriptions of body extension and male centaurs, using digital descriptions to advance concepts and practices of connection, fluidity, categorization and masculinity in fusion.

The narratives brought about by the era of rapid technological evolution have followed one after another. The triple helix of Celtic mythology and the Buddhist vertical Buddha are all predicting and warning that the shattering of Japan’s grand narrative in the last century is not just a single phenomenon. We are trapped in this triangular cycle, praying, losing souls, cursing, and so on.
