Untitled

I wrestle the branches until they bleed,

Exploring the hollows in the mud-covered hair,

Humans learn to grow on their knees,

The jungle is filled with whispers,

covering lighter tracks,

Sun cannot breathe underground,

The wind carries thoughts through the gaps,

Am I a tree?

They are gazing at the earth.

My body with soil painting

Jing focuses on the relationship between humans and nature. He hopes that their relationship is harmonious and integrated in the present day.

He did performance art in Epping Forest to explore it in contemporary times.

Jing created soil paintings through his performance and a range of textiles through knitting in collaboration with the innovative textile company Byborre. He has also created a series of bark-textured fabrics by soil dyeing and cyanotype. At the same time, soil as a bio-sustainable material was used for his accessories design.

He hopes to convey his artistic thinking in contemporary fashion. To engage the public with his works to understand the in-depth design stories between him and nature.
