Batli is part of a range of products under the series MIMB ( Made in My bedroom) created by Jeremy Coutinho. Exploring the possibilities of manufacturing from the bed room, Batli is a PET Plastic Filament generator that uses the plastic from drinking bottles to make 3d printing filament. Batli is designed in consideration of its operating environment with a simplified form and ease of operation. It comes inbuilt with a replaceable activated carbon filter to remove any potential VOCs. Its compact form factor and striking retro inspired aesthetic were designed to make it more than a tool, something that belongs on the bedroom shelf and not tucked deep in the garage.
