Service Design (MA)

Apichaya Nalamlieng

As a seasoned multidisciplinary experience designer, I have had the privilege of delving into the realm of social impact during my tenure at RCA. It was within this esteemed institution that my true passion for this field flourished, particularly under the expansive umbrella of service design. Over the course of two years as a dedicated service design student at the Royal College of Art, I successfully amalgamated my prior expertise as an accomplished interior architect with a rich five-year background. This invaluable fusion has propelled me to elevate my design prowess beyond the digital landscape, allowing me to confidently navigate and shape physical spaces with exceptional finesse.

My experience at the RCA has unequivocally demonstrated the boundless potential within the realm of service design. Throughout my journey, I have honed my skills, nurturing a strategic mindset that fervently pursues my passion for addressing complex challenges across diverse industries. As I embarked upon my final project, my interests expanded beyond the realms of hospitality and technology, embracing the profound realms of social impact and value integration. The culmination of my endeavors yielded an outcome that transcended mere creation of another service; instead, I proudly crafted a comprehensive strategy to effectively tackle problems, applicable across a myriad of situations and cities.
