Statement
As a designer, she prioritizes human emotions, engaging all five senses and incorporating fragrances into clothing to establish emotional connections and evoke memories.
The inspiration behind the "1906" Telegraph Station comes from her grandfather, who worked as a telegraph operator for 40 years. During a time when communication was incredibly challenging, people cherished the precious connections facilitated by the telegraph.
To bring this concept to life, she created a virtual short film that tells a captivating story. The design process includes constructing the narrative, designing characters, crafting spaces, developing installations, and creating costumes. The characters in the film draw from real-life stories filled with regrets and a longing for family, friendship, and love.
She wonders if the "1906" can provide individuals with an opportunity to reconcile their regrets and reconnect with family, friends, and loved ones they can no longer see in real life. This experience transcends the boundaries of life and death, space and time. She believes that beings in another dimension are also pondering our existence and attempting to establish a connection, offering us profound support.
