YIZHEN JIA

Yizhen Jia is a fashion designer. She graduated from Wuhan Textile University with a degree in Fashion and is currently studying at the Royal College of Art for her Master's Degree in Fashion.

Her work is dedicated to exploring the boundaries between fashion and art, finding her identity and her true self - exploring the connection between man and nature. Experiment with the natural and sensual worlds to find the connection between them.

In her practice, she collaborates with nature to create prints handcrafted throughout the collection, bringing more feeling and emotion to the creation process.

To feel free for me was to return to the wilderness, so I researched the relationship between human and nature

and discovered that in fact, we are nature.


"The spiritual vision of man should be freely formed, like a tree in the wilderness"


I wanted to think about stereotypes in terms of the interrelationship between humans and plants, to create flowers that are just for me, and also metaphorically to be myself without the domestication of established rules. Let the flower be the flower and be itself.


Like a tree, grow towards the sky.
