YING CHEN is always memorable for strange and unusual fragmentary scenes. From the enchanting vision of poppies swaying by the roadside during her childhood temple visits to the momentary sight of a single droplet of fresh blood delicately escaping her fingertips during a medical examination, these scenes have become imprinted in her mind like fragments of a forgotten tapestry. The gradual formation of rust on aged iron and the seductive allure of a juice-drenched pomegranate staining everything it touches...... further deepens her connection to the beauty of life's ephemeral moments.

Due to her personal experiences, YING CHEN has an intense desire to explore the profound themes of life and death. With a profound focus on personal feelings, emotions, and memories, each piece emanates an eerie, tranquil, and enigmatic aura. They powerfully portray the eternal dance of love, life, and death, pulsating with a poignant blend of sensations, scents, and revelations.

Our exclusive and unique memories shape the very core of our being. They form the tapestry of our individuality, weaving together the intricate threads that make us who we are.
