Sen Kwok's works address themes related to social behavior, the body, gender behavior, psychoanalysis, Animism, and how the liveness and mechanisms of performance reflect the structural nature of these relationships and systems in practice.

His artistic practice is mainly based on performance and moving images, combined with installation, soft sculpture, and painting. He is concerned with issues of individual existence and identity, and their relationship to space, image, memory, and ideology. Sen's works embrace the influence of Eastern philosophical texts, and a poetic surrealist language often appears in the works.

ORIGINS OF LAUGHTER (live)All laughter is occasioned by a paradoxical, and hence unexpected, subsumption, it matters not whether this is expressed in words or in deeds. This in brief is the correct explanation of the ludicrous. As a performer I am well aware of the diversity of the objects and combine them under one concept with secret wisdom on the spot. From laughter, into reality, into the manipulation of reality, into action, as a reflection of reality. Reversing the starting point, masking wit as folly, is the art of clown.
