Critical Practice

About

💥From embodied to fictional activist or/and material informed practices, artists from the Critical Practice pathway have a range of interests but all engage in some level with socio-political questions, matters, topics.

This year you will encounter works and narratives that interrogate, demand, shake, captivate, hypnotise.✨

Decolonial and intersectional thinking are key and drive our motivation to make, create, discuss, claim, reclaim, defend, resist, oppose and hijack - and circle back to test, experiment and grow.🌟

“Our radical imagination is a tool for decolonization, for reclaiming our right to shape our lived reality.” Adrienne Maree Brown, ´Pleasure Activism: The Politics of Feeling Good’, 2019
