Lotte Cunnell (b. 1996) is an artist from London. She has a BA in Fine Art Leeds Arts University in 2019, and is completing her MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art. She uses manipulation of the photographic process to interrogate and interrupt the transaction of looking between the subject and viewer. She works intuitively and experimentally with materials and processes, seeking to find the point at which material and concept can feed into and create a dialogue with one another. She is interested in the moment of transformation that is photography- the transfer of touch and light that shapes reality, and how she can manipulate this transfer through the physical properties of the photographic object.
