Julian Chiesa was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and minor in Digital Humanities from UCLA. His work explores the social and psychological impact of technology, and interaction with emerging platforms.
Smartwatches with embedded sensors are able to capture large quantities of data about our bodies and our surroundings. Improvements in machine learning can help to interpret that data and make novel use of it. This work in progress explores the potential of wearable sensors and machine learning to enhance interaction with our devices and environments.
