Emma Windsor-Liscombe is an interdisciplinary artist with a practice based in painting. She created portraits and narrative scenes in oil, graphite, and reclaimed material. She is currently working on a series of paintings, sculptures and scrolls about a myth, and drawings using recycled materials to examine problems related to mining in the Amazon. Based in London.

Pertinent themes to Emma's work are trauma, addiction, and nostalgia.

Statement

The work featured in my Graduate Exhibition explores trauma and nostalgia through a series of portraits, figurative scenes and narratives that establish a contemporary mythology and document known and unknown lives.
