Tair Almor is a designer and ceramist who focuses on exploring the connection between design and societal concerns. Her work examines how political, environmental, and economic issues impact design and its influence on communities and society. Tair's artistic practice incorporates her own experiences and viewpoints, often emphasising feminist themes.
Tair holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Shenkar College and has received a scholarship from the prestigious Benyamini Ceramic Center in Tel Aviv and is a graduate of the The Professional Development Program, Edmond de Rothschild Center. Tair is also an experienced educator, having taught design courses at Shenkar College and the Holon Institute of Technology.
Her work has been exhibited at design events including Milan Design Week (2021), Paris Design Week (2022), and Jerusalem Design Week (2020).
