HaiChao Hong harbours a fascination for paraffin as a material. Ever since his three-year stay in the hospital, a heightened sense of curiosity about memory infuses everything he does. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to creating with paraffin, crafting works that weave a complex narrative of life and death, memory, emotional relationships, and dreams. In his perspective, sculpture should not be kept at arm's length - it should be evolving, warm, something to be embraced amidst the flux of life.

We are the sculptors of the conversation, directing the contours of the discourse with the ballet of our body language, the dance of our gaze. It is, after all, merely an endeavor - to chisel out a dialogue.
