The fluidity,2023

Xinghan is not limited to the medium and form of her work, preferring to interpret her own sense of ambivalence through different materials and media. For her, the blurring of boundaries, the shifting of identities, the fullness of the unknown is both frightening and fascinating.

The work discusses the fluidity of identity in relation to a social environment that is incomplete, fragmented, turbulent, and shifting with the environment. We are constantly in a state of finding and being lost, it is not a fixed answer but full of unknown possibilities. Inspired by reflections on the identity of international students and returnees.
