As a jewellery designer, I want to create a series of works to delve into memory and personal connections through my creations. Drawing inspiration from personal recollections, I am fascinated by people's enduring bonds with their past and how memories are preserved. Recognizing the significance of colour in capturing memories, I employ a thoughtful combination of colour, shape, and material to evoke these cherished experiences.
In my work, I wish to create a personal memory archive that utilises gems, colours, and shapes to trigger emotions and experiences of special moments. I use stones as symbolic elements that represent the stories behind the figures. Colour plays a vital role in conveying emotion and mood. I choose and incorporate colours to enhance my photographs' underlying expression of emotion and atmosphere. I see photographs as external memory mediums that allow me to recall and share the images and feelings that define my life.
My works attempt to go beyond mere pictorial documentation. It is an artistic exploration that engages the viewer in the deep emotions and personal perspectives that shape our lives.
