Writing and speech are inseparable as they shift their formulation while informing each other. Writing is enforced by speech in its temporality and ongoing ability to articulate, while both rely on the embodiment of language in material. In my practice I consider an embodiment of language which is of public negotiation, while in its immediate presence it is a private expression. The words used stand between their own materiality and an individual’s presence, as speech and writing are presented and performed.
