Statement

"Birth Scars" is a series of body accessories aimed at exploring the impact of childbirth on the female body image, with a special focus on stretch marks as scars of the reproductive process. By transforming stretch marks into jewelry-like waistbands, armor, and waist adornments, it emphasizes the unique beauty that childbirth brings to the female body and encourages societal recognition and respect for the diversity of women's bodies. It also seeks to empower women to embrace and value their own bodily experiences positively. This series' design concept is derived from celebrating and exploring women's vitality and reproductive experiences.
